How do I give a Baby CPR?

Answer:
Giving a Baby CPR is almost exactly the same
as giving an adult CPR.  CPR or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation is the process of restarting a victim's heart during a Cardiac Arrest.

A Cardiac Arrest most often happens to babies that are choking or suffocating.  First check to see if they baby is unresponsive.  Put your ear to their mouth to feel and listen for breaths.

Unlike adult CPR, every second counts.  Before you dial 911 you'll want to start the CPR process.  Only after you've given the baby CPR will you dial 911.  If you are in a public place or someone is available to dial 911 have them call and give the Operator the address, the age of the baby and the circumstances.

Begin by opening the babies air way.  Do so by slightly tilting their head back.

Children under 1 years old have different CPR directions than adults and infants.  If the child is younger than 1 year old you will put your mouth over their nose and mouth.  Be sure to form a nice suction around the babies nose and mouth.

Breath 2 small breaths into the babies lungs.  You only want to fill the babies lungs and view the chest rising.  You don't want to breath too much air into the babies lungs.  Put your ear to the babies mouth and check for breathing.  If the baby isn't breathing start chest compressions.

Imagine a string connecting the nipples of the baby.  In the middle of the string and a half-inch below place your index and middle finger on the victims chest.  Unlike adult CPR you are not using your full hand.  Babies are small so you need to compensate by only using your two fingers.

Compress the babies chest 30 times.  Do so quickly, at approximately the rate of 100 per minute or 2 per second.  Again check for breathing.  Continue 2 small breaths and 30 two-fingered chest compressions for 1 full minute.

After 1 minute of CPR to the baby call 911 if 911 has not been notified.

Try and associate the process with something you are familiar with.  For example, I'm a basketball fanatic and Michael Jordan was number 23 so I remember 2 breaths and 30 chest compressions.
