What is unsaturated fat?

Answer:
Unsaturated fat is
derived from plant and some animal sources, such as fish, that becomes liquefied at room temperature.

Fats often have a bad reputation among most people.  They are, however, essential to bodily health.  They protect vulnerable parts of the human body.   Fats disseminate vitamins A, D, E, and K, keeping the hair and skin healthy.  They play a key role in maintaining warmth in the body.  Fats can also lead to increased levels of cholesterol and heart disease, and possibly cancer and weight gain as well.

Eating foods that contain a higher level of unsaturated fats than saturated fats can contribute to a reduction in blood cholesterol levels.
