Answer:
Cardiovascular is a term relating to the heart, The heart pumps blood into the lungs in order to pick up oxygen, and drop off carbon dioxide. The oxygenated blood returns to the heart to be pumped to the rest of the body. Cardiovascular training is training that gets the heart rate above normal for an extended period of time. This type of training is usually referred to as cardio training, or just cardio. Cardio training usually consists of a low intensity exercise done for a period of about 20 to 30 minutes. Running, biking, aerobics, walking, or swimming are the most popular forms of cardiovascular training. Resistance training can also be used as a good cardio workout if it is done in a circuit training fashion, weight training exercises done in a way that the period of rest between sets is shortened, or eliminated all together. This will increase the heart rate and breathing and will result in a great cardiovascular workout. Trackback(0)
