What is Endurance?

Answer:
The term endurance, in exercise, refers to how
long a person can perform a particular exercise, usually aerobic, at a particular intensity.  When some says that they have a lot of endurance, it typically means that they can run, bike, swim, or do any other aerobic activity for an above average period of time.

It can also mean that they can perform longer distances of these activities in a shorter amount of time than someone with less endurance.

Some strength exercises are better well suited for power and endurance.  Push ups are probably the best example of this kind of exercise.  They provide a good deal of upper body strength, while the more of them you do, provides good endurance.
