Hatha yoga (gazoontite) is the closest thing Hatha yoga conditions the body to help clear the mind, so that meditation can be practiced without physical obstacles. This is accomplished through a series of poses, or asanas, and controlled breathing. This is the kind of yoga that I practice, if you can call it that. My routine lasts about twenty minutes and can be done anywhere that I lay a yoga mat. I mostly do it for the stretching and relaxation, my form of meditation is going to bed and sleeping well.
