What is Tae Bo?

Tae Bo is a cardio-boxing exercise program developed
by tae kwon do expert Billy Blanks.  It combines techniques derived from tae kwon do, boxing, and aerobics into a full workout regimen.


The combination of aerobics, martial arts, dance, and hip-hop music makes for a workout that is fun, intense, and one that keeps the participants interested.


A typical Tae Bo workout lasts around one hour and consists of a series of punches, kicks, and steps that are choreographed in eight-count combinations.  Tae Bo is very popular among women because it offers strength building and fighting techniques that regular aerobics doesn't offer.
