and developed by Mari Winsor. Winsor Pilates is based on Pilates, the core strengthening execise regimen developed by Joseph Pilates.


Mari Winsor took Pilates floor work and added a tool called a Sculpting Circle, which adds resistance to the Pilates workout. Winsor also developed the Dynamic Sequencing technique, which works specific groups of muscles in a particular order.

 A Winsor Pilates workout takes about twenty minutes to complete, and does not include aerobic activity, so it should be done along with a cardiovascular exercise program which elevates the heart rate.
