What Is Prayer?

Answer:
Prayer is a method that spiritual people use to communicate with God. In prayer time, it is best to go into a quiet place and shut yourself off from the world to be able to focus on the communication, but that is not required. God is available for us to talk to at any time, from any place.

What is God?

Answer:
In the simplest sense, a god is a deity, a supernatural being with some level of authority over, care of or responsibility for some or all humanity. Often this being is worshiped and is the personification of a force or element. The Latin word religio gives us the modern word religion and (according to Lewis and Short) it means “reverence for God or the gods, careful pondering of divine things, piety and the res devina.”
