What Is Prayer?

Answer:
Prayer is a method that spiritual people use to communicate with God.
In prayer time, it is best to go into a quiet place and shut yourself off from the world to be able to focus on the communication, but that is not required. God is available for us to talk to at any time, from any place.

God wants us to talk to Him, just like a person to person phone call. Some people try to make the idea of prayer into something complicated with a lot of rules, but it is simply talking to God and bringing things to Him.

There is no wrong thing to say. God loves us all unconditionally. The main thing to do in prayer is to ask for forgiveness from our sins. Jesus died on the cross to cleanse our sins, and all that we have to do is claim it. Also, tell God your needs, and give Him all your worries and cares. Above all, thank Him. He provided our method of forgiveness, and no matter how little material goods we may have, He provided them to us. Thank Him for providing them to you.

We also need to remember to pray for each other. Jesus set the example for us in prayer, and we should strive to follow that example. Also, have faith that He can deliver. Also, keep in mind that prayer is also an opportunity for us to worship God and praise Him.

One last thing. The best prayers are not the big and showy ones in front of a big crowd. The best prayers are the quiet ones in private where you can bare your soul. God isn’t impressed by the big fancy “look at me” prayers in public. But, He takes notice of the quiet prayers in a private home.
