Throughout the centuries since Jesus’s death, there have been many famous theologians, including Paul (Jesus’s apostle, who was converted on the Road to Damascus), Origen, Martin Luther, Calvin, and C.S. Lewis. Sometimes, the conclusions drawn from these theologians results in doctrine, which is a belief system based on an aspect of theology.
